3rd October 2009 to 14th September 2003

Creech St Michael offers some good photography locations and really came into it's own during the 'foot and mouth' epedemic when places such as Cogload, Charlton and Victory were not able to be utilised.
Creech however has along with everything else become overgrown to the stage where there is now a chesnut tree growing in the middle of the down morning shot.
However this said, some stunning lighting effect and trains have been recorded in Creech over the years and this gallery details just a small selection of those!

15-08-09 Rail Blue Charters operated their 'Seaside Express' from Chesterfield to Paington on the 15th August 2009. 47501 'Craftsman' and 47802 'Pride of Cumbria' were used to haul the Cargo D rake of BR Blue & Grey coaching stock. Sadly problems with 47802 on the way back meant the loco was removed at Exeter to allow 47501 to continue solo to Chesterfield. This was the first time a pair of Double Headed DRS Locos had been used on a charter in the South West.

10-04-07 This is only the second Class 60 to feature in the Creech Gallery, it just goes to show how rare these machines are in the South West. 60060 is seen working the 6V62 Fawley - Tavistock Jn fuel passing Creech running approx 40 late. The Class 60 named 'James Watt' replaced 66151 at Westbury.
